• ACLS required for Tele/PCU, ER, ICU/CCU, PACU, OR

• BLS - Basic Life Support required for all units

• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
• State License 1 Verification

  • Inpatient Wound Care Clinic RN
  • Start Date: Dec 2 Start
  • Travelers will work as a team to flow from wound assessments to treatments; there are no ratios.
  • 2 years of wound/ostomy experience preferred.
  • Epic experience is preferred.
  • Must have a thorough knowledge of wound types, treatments, standard wound care products, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy experience.
  • First time travelers accepted.
  • There is a potential to float between inpatient and outpatient wound care
  • They will be performing ostomy education for new ostomates as well as providing wound care.
  • Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures: Type 2 Diabetes with ulcer, Venous Stasis Ulcers, Pressure Injuries - Procedures include negative pressure wound therapy dressing changes, skin substitutes, debridements, total contact casting, and compression wraps.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS & ACLS required; NIH preferred.
    • Wound Certification is preferred but not required.

      • Shift: Fri/Sat/Sun 3x12's position 0630-1900
      • No Weekend Requirement
      • 40 Guaranteed Weekly Hours
      • No on-call Requirement
      • No Open Block Schedule
      • Locals Accepted: Yes
      • Pending License Accepted: No
      • No RTO approved the day before, the day of, or the day after holiday.
      • RTO Restrictions: No Holiday RTO; max 5 total days in 13 week assignment. No additional RTO after the time of submittal or while working on contract.
