Job Description:
Overview
As a Diagnostic Medical Imaging Specialist at Ardent Health, you
will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care
through the operation of ultrasound scanners and the preparation of
patients for exams. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring
the smooth flow of patients through the department, from prepping
and scanning to assisting physicians with invasive procedures.
Responsibilities
• Operate ultrasound scanners and call reports of exams
• Transport patients to and from the department and schedule
patients
• Assist physicians with invasive procedures and administer basic
C.P.R.
• Maintain high-quality imaging and have a thorough knowledge of
ultrasound physics, anatomy, and positioning of patients
Qualifications
• Must be registered or registry eligible with the American
Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
• Basic Life Support certification
• Preferred: ARDMS Registered in OB/GYN and AB, one year or more of
Ultrasound Tech experience
