  • Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Responsibilities:
  • --- Implements and monitors patient care plans.
  • --- Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
  • --- Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
  • --- Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders.
  • --- Assesses and coordinates patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Complexity of Work:
  • --- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
  • Personal Protective Equipment:
  • --- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have Current License and primary source verification within 30 days prior to start of assignment for all licensed professionals.
    • Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start.
    • Documentation of vaccination series completion OR documentation of declination to vaccine to be signed and dated by traveler.
    • Documentation of proof of two MMR vaccines or Positive IGG Titer. No declinations accepted.
    • 1st PPD within 1 year, 2nd PPD within 30 days of start.
