The ideal candidate will have at least 4-6 years of experience with a demonstrated track record of successful technical leadership in the execution of large-scale data projects. How You Will Spend Your Time Working with stakeholders to understand their business needs and gather detailed requirements.
Creating comprehensive documentation of business and functional requirements, ensuring clarity and completeness.
Collaborating with technology partners to architect, design, and build data and analytics solutions that empower business success.
Creating data flows, architecture diagrams, data model, data integration, data controls, transformations, and more!
Coordinating with project managers, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless communication and understanding of requirements and timelines
Leading meetings - providing agendas and engaging the right resources, keeping on track with agenda
Working with core system subject matter experts to deeply understand data models and define transformation logic.
Preparing and presenting requirement documentation and status reports to stakeholders and project teams.
Applying advanced technical understanding of data flows across multiple applications, software and system integrations, RDBMS principles, and tiered environments
Working with data engineers and business stakeholders to understand the current interface systems that are in place

Experience and Education
Bachelor's Degree in a data-centric field (Computer Science, Economics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, etc.) and minimum 4-6 years' experience with a demonstrated track record of successful technical leadership in the execution of large-scale data projects. Proven ability to learn quickly and demonstrate background as a "self-starter"
Strong TSQL expertise
Understanding of ETL methodologies and data integration design patterns (API, streaming, enterprise job schedulers, batch)
Azure Data Lake and Azure Data Bricks experience is a plus
Strong understanding of Data Warehouse and Data Lake concepts
Strong development experience in SQL Server Integration Services
Hands-on experience developing test cases and entering defects
Well-developed oral and written communication skills and ability to present complex information and issues in a clear and concise manner
Well-developed conceptual thinking and analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex problems that include interrelationships and dependencies to identify common themes and solutions,
Strong sense of accountability, taking ownership over projects and responsibilities, and resolving issues proactively
