Responsibilities:
--- Operate the CT scanner safely and proficiently.
--- Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning.
--- Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow.
--- Demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions and be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluids.
--- Transport patients to and from the department.
--- Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.
Qualifications:
--- Technical or Associate's radiography degree.
--- Registered or registry eligible with the ARRT.
--- Maintain registry while employed.
--- BLS certification.
